Owner, Travis Bentley, is a licensed professional land surveyor that began his career surveying underground coal mining operations in 1992. In 1998 he moved to the Louisville KY area and furthered his knowledge base to include Construction layout, Boundaries, ALTA/NSPS surveys, Major/Minor plats, Easement Plats, Condominum Plats, GPS surveying, Hydrographic surveys, Laser Scanning, etc. He served as Director of Surveying for a large engineering firm for 11 years performing surveys in Louisville and throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

In May of 2015, Travis started Bentley Land Surveying, PLLC.
